Lavender Orp Rooster?

Is three weeks to early to call one? Purchased two SR lavender orpingtons at the same time. The more they grow the most one is looking like a rooster. “He” already has a tail, a larger comb, and gives me the stink eye when I walk in. Any chance I am calling it too soon?
