Maybe, but I wouldn't say definitely. I've seen pullets of this variety comb up early. So I'd give it a chance. If you see a growth spurt or deeper coloring in the comb in the next few weeks then I would say it is a cockerel.
We have another lavender Orpington but it’s comb is smaller and paler and has longer tail feathers and no distinguishable wattles yet, but they couple be a couple of days to a week apart in age, so it has me curious.

Adding some updated pics! Last pic is both of our LO together.

They are! They’re my sweetest ones. Both like to come and sit with me. I’m seriously debating keeping him… we’ve already rehomed three other roos of different breeds.
I love my Buff Orpingtons. They are 14 weeks old. I bought the 4 as pullets and 2 ended up being roos. I sais, heck, I can have 2 more. 3 roosters with 21 hens, I think that will work.

One of my BO hens walks up to me slowly when I am squatting ot sitting in the coop/run and she will rest her head on my lap as I scratch her stomach and back. She is the sweetest!
