3 days ago I introduced a lavender Orpington about 5-6 weeks old to my teenager pen. It is a little smaller than the 9-10 week Olds. The first day and night seemed to go fine but when I checked on them the next morning I found my original 9 together and this poor little guy alone in a corner all bloodied up. His wing is pretty messed up and his comb was pecked at but he seems to be recovering okay. I cleaned the wound with antibacterial cleanser, peroxide and then slathered the wounds with triple antibiotic ointment. He's now my lap chicken since he cries when I leave him alone in the quiet dark room. He's eating, drinking water with electrolytes and pooping nnormally.Does anyone have experience with how long this type of wound takes to heal? Obviously the bone of his wing is visible. The last pic is his wing today.
