Lavender Orpx Barred Rock

Hi All -

I am wanting to confirm my information....I just picked up some chicks from a neighbor and they are a LavenderxBarred Rock cross. I was hoping they would grow up to be barred rock colored (black and white) but the gal said they would all be black? They are females. As babies they are black and yellow with white tipped wing.

Anyone have pics of that cross, btw?

If rooster was lav then yes they are sexlinked males barred, females solid all split to lavender
