Lavender silkies

I have a lavander silkie rooster and a porcelain silkie hen, it is my understanding that porcelain carries lavander gene, I'm trying for lavander babies, will these hatch lavander or more porcelain? Any advice appreciated, first time trying for my own chicks, I've raised alot of silkies just haven't tried hatching for specific color. And how would I tell lavander from white when their babies, will it be obvious

Assuming you are correct about your porcelain carrying lavender you would get 50 percent each using basic genetic theory, but I don't know the details of these specific genes.
