Depends on the breed. Lavender Orpingtons are pretty common and can range from $3-$10 depending on the source. Something more uncommon or rare like a Lavender Wyandotte or Ameraucana would probably cost you $15+. Again, it really just depends on how common the breed is in your area.

It depends if you want chicks, pullets or adults. I agree that lavender Orpingtons are the most common in that color, and will be the least expensive. I would check out your local Craigslist and see what they're going for on there.
