I recently switched from Sprout layer feed to All Flock for the higher protein, and the chickens are doing noticeably better. They (Growing feathers back faster, shinier feathers, not as much feather picking...) I saw that the feed for meat chickens as even more protein, and I have seen some BYCers use that. What should I do? (I have oyster shell available.)

With oyster shell available and if the entire flock isn't laying, I'd keep feeding what you are.
When every bird is laying, you can go to a layer feed. If the all flock is between 18 and 20 % you are probably good.
