Layer feed VS. All Flock

The layer feed I get is 16% protein. When my chickens molted I switch to All Flock because it was 18%. My question is....would my flock (15 laying hens 1-2 years of age. Adding a rooster and 7 pullets soon.) benefit from having more protein year-round? I do supplement oyster shell.

I like the higher protein to help balance out all the veggie treats.

Everyone gets Purina Flock Raiser. Chickens, Turkeys, Ducks, and Geese. I start chicks on starter then when the bag is empty they are also fed the Flock Raiser. Birds are healthy and it's much easier if I am away or grounded by a doctor for whomever is feeding. No give the ducks this, the turkeys get this, the chickens get this and the geese get something else. feed everyone the same. I also give them scratch just to entertain them, I like watching them scratch around looking for all the tidbits of grain.
