My 15 week old chicks got into the layer feed... anything wrong with them eating it?

It won't kill them. The extra calcium can be hard on any chicken long term if they aren't producing eggs regularly.

Some people start layer at that age. Generally you are supposed to wait until all are laying.

A layer ration is not necessary. They can be fed a non medicated starter grower or an All Flock ration. The extra calcium can be supplied by a separate bowl of oyster shells.
