Layer Feeds, any preferences?

Our chicks (5 hens) are about 11 weeks old and our 50# bag of chick feed mash is just about run out. Would switching them over to "crumbles" form be the next step? Also, there are several brands out there with various ingredients, would ones with or without meat by-products be better than just plant protein sources? How do you feel about the brands with molasses too?

11 week olds need grower feed or starter/grower.

Layer feed is needed only at around 18-20 weeks or point of lay and not before.

It has too much calcium and can damage the kidneys of nonlayers.
