Layer meal...Oops.

I bought a 50# bag of Nutrena*Country Feeds* meal by accident. I am new to this and went in to buy Layer16 crumbles.
I wanted crumbles because the flock was on the starter/grower crumbles and wanted to transition to pellets on the next bag of Layer16.
So, should I just forget about this bag and just buy another and get the right stuff? I have to drive 45 minutes to get this brand of food. Does anyone else feed meal?

You could always get a bag of the feed you really want to use and feed it half and half until the meal is used up. Chickens are funny - some are resistant on transitioning from crumbles to meal or pellets - they don't like change.
