layer or grower feed

My chickens are 20 weeks this week and yesterday i got 1 egg from someone nothing today .do I start feeding them layer food now. also ihear they stop laying during molt to you still feed them layer at that time or something else. thanks

I feed grower until they were about 20 to 24 weeks, can't remember which, but mine started laying a little later than most everyone elses. I usually in years paet feed grower until the fist egg was laid and the feed bag empty then feed layer pellets.
