Morgan from Goldshawfarm (yt channel) uses those but his hens don't lay in those boxes they lay on the floor

I also got these from a friend because her hens wouldn't lay in them and mine wouldn't either. I wonder if it's because the etal makes it kind of look like a mirror. My chickens prefer to hide behind a piece of plywood I have propped up and lay there.
