Hi everyone,
My beautiful chickies started laying last week. So far they are doing a great job! They are laying in the nest box and keeping that area very clean. But the last two days I have found an egg in the grass under the coop. The grass is mowed short, so it is definitely not a hiding spot. Do you think one of them just hasn't gotten the hang of things yet, or is there something I am not providing her?
Thanks!

One just haven't got the where of laying yet. If she continues try putting a fake egg in the box.
