I am thinking about getting a few guineas and i was reading on here that they lay 30-40 eggs during thier laying time. I think they called it a clutch. So do they hatch like one per day like the eggs are layed or do they all hatch around the same time?

Guineas will lay 20+ eggs per nest. (mine have layed an average of 22 eggs a nest so far) I believe guinea hens can probably hatch 2 clutches a year if their keets are taken away at a young age. If the hens are not allowed to set on their eggs till hatching, or if the nest gets broken up by a predator, they will start a new nest. They will do this until they either hatch a clutch or the season ends. (I'm not 100% sure on this, all I know is I have a hen who is going on her 5th nest without being able to hatch any keets because she's been broken up so many times and she just started setting today on somewheres around 1 dozen eggs. Normally she would've waited till 24 I should think because her first two nests had 24 eggs each. Maybe she knows the season is ending soon and she needs to hatch these eggs?)

The keets should all hatch within a 1-2 day period. For me they normally hatch on day 25 and day 26.

Good luck! Guineas are really fun
