Laying

Quick question. Is it possible that if hens go a long time without laying that they will never lay again? I am talking about young birds 8 months to 2 years old.

Someone told me this can happen. I hope they are wrong. It has been 3 months since I have seen an egg.

Mine quit laying for months while going through a molt. Feels like they are never gonna lay again. Then Ive had some lay eggs during molt.

Stress, disease, old age, diet, injury...there are so many reasons a hen will stop laying. Some temporary. some permanently
