laying

i got my birds about 2 weeks ago they (apparently) had started laying for him they are young at point of lay. but so far no eggs for me???

I have the same problem. I started with 3 roos 3 hens, got rid of roos got 2 more hens, laying at the time I got them.
they were almost 1 year but I have had them for over a month and no eggs. Now mine started laying, just 1 hen. I know they are mine , mine lay brown the others are white.

It is the move and the new location, I was told. It might take awhile and if you are in cold country it may not come til spring. Some chickens do mot like the cold. RIR's like I have do lay in winter and once they start there is no stopping, but they start with small eggs and get bigger. I get 5 a week that is considered very good. good luck
