I have a Buff Orbington going broody. After I moved her to a seperate place, she never gets up to take break. maybe she is too scared? I pulled her out after she sat there for 60 hrs. Then I have to pull her out everyday. The chicks hatched on the 21st day morning. I was trying to take videos and photos, but she doesn't let the chicks out for the whole day, she is crazily aggresive and we can hardly touch her feather, but we finally peek under her, there's 3 chicks! I put food and water for them, and obviously was not touched, I checked so many times. Is this normal? The chicks are 18 hrs under her without food. Should we force her to get up and eat?

Force her off and take the rest of the eggs away so she can focus on the chicks she has.

Give her some time. The chicks can go 3 days before they need food and water. It's a little early to assume all the eggs have hatched. My Buff Orp kept the chicks under her for 3 days before getting up and taking them to eat.

Wait 3 days then clean out the nest.
