Thanks for the information, never been a patient person...LOL... I'm from Mississippi so YESSSSSSSSSS, IT's HOTTTTTT, I was told that chickens don't lay as well in the cold months, that I might not get any eggs till spring. Will I have to wait that long... I only let them free range after I get home from work so I can watch them, usually after 4PM so I don't think they are laying outside the pen, learned that last year with my first little bantams, I found egg nest all over the yard.....I never thought I'd be just a bird nut.... But I'm Hooked...
