She is just coming out of a hard molt, so she is not as vibrant as she will be in a few short weeks. She is finally accepting Rooster's leadership again. She is the boss hen when Rooster is not around; she kept this position, even through her very hard molt.
She is finally growing some of the feathers back around her neck/back where her injury was, but I think some will never come back.
I will always know which chicken she is because her neck looks a little like a turkey because of the missing muscle mass at the base of the neck.
