i'am looking at a 8 drawer redwood incubator made by leahy model #is 40 3 or 40 e not sure which one. does anybody know what it is worth in good working order and if you can still get parts

what part do you need? if it is in working order// ??

those are good incubators.. I have seen them go for 6 to 8 hundred dollars used.. does it have auto turner? that is a lot of eggs to turn by hand..

Is it 220V or 110V ?

It is hard to say what it is worth without some description of it.. I do not know model numbers..

most parts can be obtained for incubators.. If you cannot get the original parts, a lot of times you can improvise..

sounds good..then.... may I ask what you are going to pay for it?

I have a couple of 12 drawer Jamesway 2940.. Yours sounds very similar to mine.. 2940 is how many eggs they will hold.

There is a place near Red RIver, Minn that you can probably get parts from.. the name excapes me right now.. something like red river valley hatchery... or red wing /??

If you need the address, contact me and I will look it up.. I have it in my files somewhere..

You will like that bator.. One tip, do not set it directly on the floor, especially on concrete..

I have all of my sportsmans at waist high.. much easier to work out of..
