Leaning Cockerel

I am leaning Cockerel on this one due to the comb development at two weeks, inconsistent patterning and the possible double-barring on the chest, however, it is a Barnyard Mix so the usual tells may not apply. It does have spotty feathers coming in on the legs and feet, but also yellow/orange comb and legs, definitely looks like it might have some barred rock in it. What do you think?

It does have some beige leakage coming through on the head spot, but otherwise, the spot was relatively well defined.

Don’t know if only the mother or father were barred, or both. No idea the mix.

It really did. We’ve been raising backyard chickens for over 9 years now, but have never had the chance to experience a cockerel. There were pretty obvious and comical differences with this one early on, lol. Always something new with chickens

Update at eight weeks - noticed some beige and iridescent feathers starting to come in on the shoulders. He also developed a crest since the last pics. He pretty much runs around all day chest bumping anything and everything
