leaving comments?

Hello, I'm new to BYC.. I have been looking through the coop pages and would like to leave some comments but have been unable to figure out how. When looking at any coop page I click on "comments" and it brings me down to where everyone else has left comments but I don't seem to have any option of leaving a comment myself.

What am I missing?

You'll need to post a while before you can do certain things, like make comments on articles, as part of our anti spam program.

So I still can't leave comments, not sure how many things I have to post before I can leave comments.

I sent a message to support and all they did was send me a link to FAQ's which didn't really answer my question and got me more frustrated. I read in the FAQ's that I could leave reviews on products so when I tried to do that I got an error message:

"Insufficient Permissions,
You do not have permission to create product reviews Logout and try again with an administrative account, or contact a site administrator for support."


I then contacted support again and they replied saying to visit the forum.

So here I am back again asking what do I need to do exactly to leave comments on people's posts and write reviews on products that I have been using.
