I have a little duck who is about 3 months old who has developed what resembles club foot in humans. It is predominantly worse in her left leg. She is having extreme difficulty walking and her sibling ducklings pick on her to the point we have seperated her and brought her in. Is there anything I can do to help my sweet little Lilli out. She is such a sweet and lovable little duck and we have become quite a attached to her.

This is a VERY common problem right now. Many threads about ducklings with foot and leg problems.

One common thing that can cause duck leg problems is NIACIN DEFICIENCY. If you are feeding your duck chick starter, there just isn't enough niacin in it for a duck and you have to supplement.

The easiest way to do that is to get some brewer's yeast tablets from Walmart, crush up a tablet and sprinkle it on the feed. Do this every time you fill the feed bowl.

Thanks for the info. Will this help my little lilli's legs or will i have to put a splint on them? She is such a little sweet heart. How much yeast do I need to put in the water? I have around 20 little ducklings also.

Thanks
Tammy
