Leg & foot issue

Hello something similar has happened to my friend, I might be able to help, can I have a picture please?
It’s the left foot, see pad on bottom. Sending 2 pics

can he move his ankle and toes freely, if not it could indicate a sprain and in which case I’d recommend putting him in a crate where he can’t more round much as moving may make this worse, antibiotics wouldn’t hurt to help the swelling go down but I would urge that you make him rest and not move to much as it could escalate quickly.

Finish filling out your profile, I can not see where you live. IF you live in North America and IF he was not roosting because his foot and leg was damaged he could have been on the ground and now has frostbite. Pictures are required any time a problem like this arises and help is needed.

It does look very swollen. Is he managing to get around and does he put any weight on it?

Did you try the aspirin? If not, I would definitely give him that for the swelling and pain and then if you're able to handle him you could feel around the foot in case there's anything obvious. Make sure you don't use any other human pain relief. It's just aspirin that's safe.

No not yet. Vet is giving an antibiotic in water. TY. Will keep in mind!
