Hey guys,
So my pekin duck seems to be holding her wing differently. It almost appears as if she is holding it higher on her back. It’s not drooping and she can still flap it. I have felt the bones and it doesn’t feel like anything is broken but it does feel slightly different than her other wing. Any ideas on what it could be or what I should do? I isolated her from the flock in case it was injured due to an aggressive male but have not seen any improvement and it’s been a week. Now she is currently in a dog crate in my bathroom because she came up lame tonight (she doesn’t want to put much weight on her one leg, just stands on the tip of the toes of the one leg). Any help would be appreciated.

You might want to check for bumblefoot. I don’t know on the wing. Good luck!:)

This girl is unfortunately a repeat offender on bumble foot, but definitely not the case this time. Today she is actually not wanting to walk much at all, and the leg feels pretty warm. Her leg was fine yesterday morning.

So quick update...
Sorry I didn't get pictures posted, things got a little busy here. Jay went to the vet today. They can't find any reason why her wing is being held oddly or why she is limping. No broken bones, unable to find any wounds, stated in regards to her wing that her muscles were symmetrical. So antibiotics, pain meds, and rest are the orders.

Glad to hear it’s nothing too serious. Hope some r+r speeds her recovery.
