leg mites

What is the best way to cure leg mites I have cochin bantam that have something on there leg it just a scaly looking mess on there toe and legs.I have read use ivomec has anyone used this before and will it work? DK

Hi! I've never used that, but I would take some vasceline, and mix in some poultry dust, and slather up the legs with that....Really rub it in. Will make them feel better and kill the mites......Twice a day works wonders.
