Leg problem, mites? What is it!? (PICS)

This is the second time this has happened to the same hen. The first time it got infected and the vet gave me Baytril, it cleared up. But the vet didn't have a clue what is was to begin with (not an avian vet). Does any one have any clue to what this may be. Is it her leg healing and growing new scales from an injury? (She had a small nic there a couple weeks ago) or is it worse than that? Could it be mites? Allergy? Has anyone seen anything remotely like this before?
She is eating and drinking and doesn't seem to bothered by it. ~Thank you~ (first pics was taken today)

I have never seen anything like that posted before. I would have to guess wound that was not completely healed from before.
I tried searching for an answer- no luck
I googled and came back to your post a couple weeks ago.
