Leghorn laying really big eggs

First time posting anything on here, usually I can just find the answer I'm looking for but this time I haven't found quite the right information so early apologies if I'm posting this in the improper forum. I have a leghorn hen who has been laying gigantic double yolk eggs every day. It's not the first time I've had double-yolkers, but their usually a one-off kind of deal. This hen started laying about two months ago and lays a HUGE double yolk every day. My question is, being such a small hen, is this bad for her and, if so, is there any way to stop it. Don't get me wrong, the giant eggs are nice. I'm basically getting two eggs out of one hen every day. But, if its hazardous to her health and there is a way to prevent it, I would definitely prefer to do something about it. I do know quite a few of them have broken while or directly after being laid because she will have egg residue on her backside. That's the main thing that started getting me worried. If they're too big to be laid, it seems like it would be bad for her to be laying them every day. Again, sorry if I overlooked an answer somewhere else or if I'm posting this in the wrong forum but I am greatly appreciative of any answers you helpful folks can give me.

Hello, im new to here as well but i have an answer for you. I had 3 white leghorns that did the same thing, every one of them laid huge double yolker eggs every say for about a month straight, and nothing has happened to them yet (knock on wood). Mine are well over a year old now and they are doing just fine, they havent laid a double yolker in quite some time so i think your hen will be just fine. My uncle told me its something that young hens usually do but grow out of. I wouldnt be too worried about it. Hope that helps!!

Thank you so much, that makes me feel a lot better. I've seen posts where people have said double yolk eggs are common for newly laying hens, but so far all my girls have only laid one or two in their first few weeks, not every day. I'm glad to hear yours are doing well and that (hopefully) mine will grow out of it and be just fine.
