I have a black silkie rooster who is 7 years old, a few years ago he got bumblefoot and leg mites and was limping. We finally got the bumble foot healed but he still limps. Now I'm pretty sure that the leg mites never went away and have dug into his leg and that's why he is limping. I read that dipping the leg in gasoline is a way for them to go away right now. Is this the right thing to do?
