Lesions on chick

Hey y’all! This is the first time I’ve ever seen this, my baby chick can barely keep its eye open and it seems like there’s a lesion of some sort under it. Is it fowl pox?

Yeah I thought maybe another chick was pecking at her, but then another lesion showed up so it’s got me worried

It's hard to tell, do you have any other photos?

It could be Fowl Pox, if it is, then try not to disturb the scabs.
If it's dry form, that will usually resolve on it's own in several weeks. I would watch to see that she's eating/drinking well.

I agree with either a peck or pox, but hard to tell. Do you have a lot of mosquitoes around, or have you had any older birds with fowl pox in the past months?

I would lean toward Fowl Pox.
Is she still eating/drinking o.k.? No lesions inside the beak?

If those don't get any worse, then likely they will drop off in a few weeks and she'll heal up on her own.
