Let’s have a gender guess

Hi everyone.

Here are some pictures of my 4 week old crew. Just the three of them. The two buff’s are Orpington and the black one is a barred rock (could have some Orpington in there too).

I'm pretty sure the buff couple are boy and girl.

however I’m not sure about the barred rock...leaning towards Roo but I’m not very familiar with the breed and without another barred rock for comparison it makes it tough!

what do you think?

*Edit - Yes you are all most likely right on them not being Orpingtons - I was only making an uneducated newbie guess based on the egg colour/shade and what the breeder had in their flock (orpingtons, barred rocks and leghorns) - so, ultimately they will be a 'barnyard special'

They are all very cute! I've never had a rooster, so I'm not much help. Can't wait to see the answers!

Sorry to say but those aren't buff orpingtons, they're not buff, they're white :'( I think you're probably right on the genders, I think you have a pair within the white ones and the barred rock is probably a boy. Where did you get them?

I'm a little worried they may be cornish. Although plenty of breeds come in white, they could be white rocks even. Time will tell

They don't look like mixes.

Looks like 2 white Plymouth Rocks, & one Barred Rock. All 3 are cockerels.

All look male. Including the BR. I don't see any Buff ones, so you must have cropped them out of the photos. All the white ones look male too.
