Let’s play our favorite game. What kind of chicken is this? This summer I wanted to teach my kids embryology. So, I grabbed some eggs at the chicken swap that were meant for consumption (let’s call them eating eggs) and had not been refrigerated and stuck them in the baton. I also purchased some high dollar EE eggs that I really wanted. I really didn’t think the eating eggs would hatch. They said those were either JG and ameracauna. (All brown eggs). Well only one of my EE hatched and all twelve eating eggs hatched. Now at 3.5 weeks I’m not so sure about the breeds. Some are white and some are black, some are both, and some have brown in the black. The combs also seem to vary. Most have yellow feet some have pink. I have photos below. They are not the best. They are a bit photo shy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I didn’t add the EE photo bc she is easy to identify. Thanks!
