I'm new to chickens, never touched one until we brought home chicks! Now having a great time enjoying Poultry Vision, and the Chicken News Network, (dare I admit to hours?) each day.
I'm a retired police officer, now full time Longarm Machine Quilter working from home (moriahquilts.com).
Two great kids (one step, one adopted) in that young adult "trying to figure out life" stage. For all our trying, had no babies. Lots of animal babies over the years.
Husband also retired LEO, now working at Fish and Game raising fish. Especially proud of him raising catfish for the first time in our state, and now Tiger Musky - also a first here!
I've spent hours looking at coops. We're going to turn a horse stall into a hen house - soon - my babies are flying out of the horse water trough. And hours comparing photos when one of my Orps sprouted a pink comb!
