Let me introduce myself :)

Hello! I am a 28 year old female from British Columbia, Canada. I manage an orchard for a cider company. I have never raised chicken before, but when my boss told me she wanted pet chickens for the farm, I did the research, built a coop & covered run and bought 5 pullets about 2 months ago. They are now just over 18 weeks old. We have a Speckled Sussex, a Light Brahma, an Ameraucana, a Buff Orpington and a Silver-Laced Wyandotte. I am in love with these chickens and miss them when I'm home for the evenings and weekends. Looking forward to sharing my chicken adventures with you all! I'm grateful for Backyard Chickens for providing me with the available assistance I'm sure I will need.
