I would love to see everyone's coop doors! :D

I'm sure their all different in their own way. I'll need to go get a pic of mine!

Not the best picture of the access door, but the only one I've got on the computer right now:

The pop door. There is a ring on the end of the cord and a cup hook to secure it open. The bottom edge slots into a groove so that no predator can get a paw underneath and pry it open.

Mine is a 1/2" thick cutting board that slides in notches cut into a 2x4. Mine is automatic, but a manual latch would work just as well I think.

There is a steel cable that runs from the run door up through the connection box and then have a screwed in hook where we attached the cable to life the door up. When it is closed there is another hole that we insert a metal shaft through to make sure nothing can pry it open or push outward.

For the coop entrance doors, I have an inner screen door that has a simple slide bolt system that is pretty tightly "bound up" so that you have to actually push inward and up on the screen door for it to open. Then there is a outer solid door that we close at night that has a slide bolt with a hole at the backside of the bolt latching system where we put a lock on to prevent the bolt from ever being slid to open the door.

First picture is our access door in the back. Second is The front door before we extended the coop.

This is my chicken's door for my coop. I have a 'People' door on the other side if you want me to take a picture of that as well. :) I just got this new coop built, which is much bigger than my old 2x4' coop. (This one is 8x6') As you can see, this is a pretty basic door. It has one latch to keep it closed at night and one latch to keep it open. I usually slide a carabiner into the latch at night to be extra safe.
