my emu chicks are about 3 months old and starting to get black around the head lol still cute and my babies BUT i digress ok so we are beginning to plan the fencing (just waiting for our builder guy to give us the quote) its a perfect spot......large over hang....and big enough for 4 emus to run around and be happy it was originally for our horses as a small place to keep them from there fields! but the original posts that are there are all old and starting to rott on the bottoms! so it will simply have to be redone......what im thinking about doing.....is buying wooden poles to cement in the ground every like 10 feet or so.....then putting like 3 taller T posts in between them! that way when they run into the fence they wont be able to loosen them! i think that would be the best thing to do and then have 6 or 5 foot field fencing but if i get the 5 foot fencing ill make it higher on the posts to make it about 6 .....but i would LOVE to see all of your fencing so i can get a good idea what needs to be done........cuz i can NOT afford them getting out!!!
