Let me show you MY girl's BIG eggs!

These eggs are in a Large egg container.

I labeled them what they are...

small whites are leghorns....
browns are my GSL's
and the Biggest white is a double yolk duck egg.

My GSL seems to be competing with my ducks these days!

I get a total of 6 eggs a day between my ducks and my chickens.

Are your chickens and ducks still alive after this? Also, what do duck eggs taste like? Good?

Sequin, I have only eaten the duck eggs in pancakes. I have scrambled some for my chickens before though and they scramble up beautifully!!! I need to make an omelet some day with one. (notice I said ONE!)

I have 3 Pekins.

Today we got a D'uccle egg and my Australorp is in the nest box. I think she is going to lay her first egg.

no Giant eggs today!

oh, and thanks about the nails... I am going to change my avatar to my new nails and the chick now.

Isn't it wonderfu!- congratulations.

My golden comets make some eggs like that, we get about 2 double-yolkers daily from Tibet and Golda. We've also had 2 triple-yolkers. Get used to it, they're wonderful layers!
