Today I let my month olds out of the brooder in the run today. They have been in the brooder in the run for the past 10 days or so. They did good and the older chickens pretty much left them alone. I kept the brooder positioned in a way that they could run in if they got picked on. Not sure I would do this if I wasn't home to keep an eye on them, but they had a great time running and flapping their wings, scratching with the big girls, and just getting to stretch their legs.
