.. they went in the opposite direction than I wanted them too of course. Instead of going in the open 4 acres in front of their coop and run, they go behind it, into the wooded area and thickest grass and weeds they can find. Flew over a creek and into a cow field next door. I directed them back into where they are suppose to be and they settled down somewhat. Still going around the edges in the tall grass ect. and would come out in the open area from time to time. I let them have about 5 hours today, then cooped them up. They seemed pooped out now. I'll leave them out longer tomorrow and hopefully can get them back in before the rain comes.

I bet they are loving it. I kicked mine out of the coop as soon as the snow melted this Spring. I haven't fed them all Summer. When it gets dry, I do give them some water. Actually, when I get the hose out to water the other animals, if their thirsty, they come let me know. They have done great. They mutliplied from a pair to a total of 6. The hen tried to sit again recently, but I accidentally mowed off the cover of her nest.

I tried to free range my guineas and they flew over my fence. One flew into my neighbors yard and was killed by their dogs. I think I'll just build a larger run instead oof letting them out.
