I have a 3 month old speckled Sussex that seems the sit down all the time, even when she drinks and eats. She doesn't avoid my touch like the other hens however when I handle her she does make noise in protest. She just seems exhausted. Any advice would be appreciated.

What does her poop look like? Photos?

Have you treated for Coccidiosis? If you haven't, I would consider doing so, just by looking at her condition.

Have you ever noticed any coughing, sneezing, watery or bubbly eyes with her or have you ever had respiratory illness within your flock? Her eye looks like it may be a bit puffy. I'd keep watch on that and make sure the coop/housing has adequate ventilation and that droppings are kept under control to help prevent ammonia in the housing.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Poop is normal as far as I can tell. She eats and drinks water just as often as rhe other yoing hens. No coughing, sneezing, bubble/water eyes. I'm not sure if I can get Corid here in California without seeing a vet.

You should be able to get Corid at a farm store like TSC. It's in the Cattle section.

It's a Coccidiostat not an antibiotic.

So I treated her with liquid corid for 7 days and she did improve a little. I'm treating her again just be on the safe side. She's still eating and drinking just fine. She just seems kinda slow. I apologize for the term. I don't know how else to describe it.
