I have a very weak lethargic non eating/ drinking buff Brahma. We did the warm epsom salt bath and she roosted for the night pretty early. If she makes it through the night (she just seemed very weak) any ideas of what it could be. No wounds. No limping visible. Just being alone and non eating/drinking

It's hard to say, have they been wormed? Coccidiosis?

What does her poop look like? How is her body condition? Any changes in diet?

She's 6 months?

You gave an epsom salts bath - do you suspect she's having trouble with an egg? If this is what you suspect, then get extra Calcium into her now, tonight, then once daily for several days. Calcium Citrate+D3 is best, but you can give TUMS.

I would be hesitant to put her in another bath if she's really weak an lethargic, sometimes this can send them over the edge.

Work on getting fluids into her, if she's not been drinking, she's dehydrated by now. Sugar water (1tsp sugar to 1cup water) or electrolytes would be good to give. Hold the cup up to her beak and see if she can drink on her own, if not, then syringe drops into her.

I believe (I can’t not remember 100%) they were wormed when we got them from the hatchery? We had to mix some stuff up and give it to them once they arrived. I’ll look into this. Not sure hernpoop as we’ve been away for three days. Body condition looks to be great. No changes in diet on our end although they are free range. We live on 9 acres so they are always exploring around

Yes, she’s 6 months. I thought maybe egg bound but I am very new at chickens. This is very helpful, thank you. If these are the answers to my concerns, when should I see her acting normal again?
