Lethargic bantam chick

yesterday i got a few chicks, 4 silkies and 2 bantams ( no idea what type, they are smaller than silkies though) all are 2 days old. And they seem quite active, sleep for a few minutes then up and running all day. They dont seem cold, no shivering or panting, i have a 25 wat bulb over the top and a heating pad underneath the tank that is set to 100f they do sleep huddled when the room is dark but they run all over the tank when they arent sleeping.

One of the Bantams isnt eating so far, hes been sleeping the whole time pretty much, he chirps alot though, he is just way weaker than the others. I gave him some water and egg yolk and he eats it when i touch his beak with it.

I removed him and im wearing him in my scarf against my neck, because he was getting trampled.

Any tips?

100 degrees is a bit too hot, lower it down to 85-90 and make sure they have places to get away from your two heat sources as they can over heat. The best you can do is to make sure you have some quick energy available for the first few days, there are prepackaged things to put in the water or I add one teaspoon of brown sugar to a quart of water, sometimes they have low blood sugar and they quickly shut down.

Thanks for the info! ^^ the cool side of the tank is about 70-78 while the high is about 95, the heat pad doesnt actually reach 100 from my past experience. The other babies are doing great so far though, they live mostly in the middle temp though. (Food and water is always accessible, i even put some on the bottom of the tank so they could reach it faster than going to the bowls.

Is Pedialyte okay to use for electrolytes?

And for the sugar water, does it have to be brown sugar? // sorry for all the questions >~<

I think I've read others have used it but I'm not sure, you want to use something with a form of simple sugar to get quick energy, I have only used brown sugar, hopefully someone who's used other things can help, otherwise you could do a search of this site to see. Good luck.
