My sister lost a bird overnight. Yesterday it was lethargic, tail down, not eating. She brought her in and bathed her, fearing a bound egg and kept her isolated and warm. She ate and perked up a bit but later started acting stressed, breathing through her mouth (panting?) and then passed away overnight. Any thoughts about what this might be? The fear is something contagious of course. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
