My Murphy, she will be a year old the end of this month, has been really lethargic today. Things I have also noticed, her feathers seem a bit out of sorts? They lay flat on her back, but are not "pretty". Now, this has been like that for a couple weeks, and I thought maybe its because she started laying eggs and is ruffling her feathers more while in her nest? Also my other goose has been mounting her on and off, but is not a gander. The thing that is really bothering me is her just being lethargic today. I have caught her just laying in the pool, head under her feathers while the other goose and duck are wandering around and they usually do everything together with Murphy in the lead. I do see her eating and drinking and yesterday I enjoyed her water aerobics for a while. I have also noticed some dark green poop, but when I "dissect" it, its mainly grassy. No blood, no worms. Like I said, she has been laying and she sleeps on the nest. I read something about it not being good for them to lay on dirty eggs, so I just removed all 15 eggs from the nest (I had allowed them in hopes of her becoming broody and getting some fertile eggs for her). I know this is not a lot to go off of, but I am concerned due to her change in behavior and sitting around more lethargic. Oh, also, she is a Brown Chineese with a gorgeous long neck and while walking around she is not carrying her head near as high, holding her neck closer to her body. Does anyone have any idea and what to do? THANKS in advance!

Thank you! I'll make sure and get some! B Believe it or not, thank GOD, she is totally back to normal today! I did feed her 2 eggs and shells, so maybe that helped? As far as it being calcium?
