Hello,
I have 1.5 yr magpie she has been happy and healthy. This evening I noticed her being a little lethargic I didn’t feel that she was egg bound. I don’t know if I should bring her in for the evening or will that stress her out more not being with the rest of the girls?? Any help is much appreciated!

Separating them from the flock can often induce stress, which subsequently could affect her condition negatively, instead, you might set a pen up for her in the coop where she can't be pecked on and has access to feed, and water, but most importantly can see her flock mates.

Tomorrow morning, I would perform a full examination of the duck, palate her abdominal area, check around her vent, feel her crop, check inside her mouth, bend wing/leg joints for abnormalities, feel keel bone, etc. If needed, you can use a similar sized-duck as a comparison. You can find information on performing physical examinations in poultry here:

If you could also post a video, or picture/s of the duck, and its droppings, that may also be helpful.

Thank you so much! I will make her only the suite but still see her mates! And examine her in the morning! I have an appointment for her tomorrow at the vet if she still seems under the weather which I might take her either way to have her checked and send a fecal out! Do you recommend any supplements to give her this evening?

A poultry vitamin or electrolyte such as Sav-A-Chick, Rooster booster, or Nutri-Dench may be beneficial for the time being. If you choose to add this to her water, add an additional water source in case she doesn't drink the treated water source.

So I think my little magpie might be or was egg bound any suggestions they have layer pellets any oyster shell I put calcium glc in a small bucket of water she was back to herself yesterday and today was lethargic and had clear/soft white gel like shell I saw her pass. When I picked her up I didnt see anything abnormal just wanted to see if I can do anything more for her??

If you're seeing softies, I suggest starting her on a calcium supplement for the next few days to correct any potential calcium deficiency ongoing. One pill of calcium citrate + D3, or Calcium gluconate 23% given at 0.2ml per pound, orally is the preferred method of administration.
