lethargic RIR.

hi!i have 7 hens.the one in question is a RIR. they are all 8months old.
she was fine yesterday.has been laying eggs.this morning she wasn't down off the roost with the others.they live in a big dog kennel with a covered roost(back and sides),so they have plenty of fresh air but no wind.i let them out almost everyday.she has nothing in her crop but grit(i checked everyone elses crop and they were full).she walks but hasn't scratched today.she has eaten a little grass and some wet mash.her vent is clean and i can't feel anything like an egg.she is not really fluffed but this morning she was shivering a little,its not that cold here yet.this morning when i took her off the roost she had diarrhea(looked liked chocolate pudding).all she really did today was lay in the sun.she tried to stay with the others today but she would disappear now and then and when i found her she was just standing there(usally under something-porch, barn)when i went to pick her up to put her back in the kennel she ran at me and pecked my boot,which is not like her at all.her poop this afternoon was white and green with some water.

yesterday they all ate grubs and earthworms(we moved hay bales and they were grabbing everything ).i am hoping she just ate too many worms.


i did rehome the roosters friday afternoon but they haven't seemed to miss them.

any ideas?thanks

If her poo is watery, then she may be dehydrated. How green is her poo? Is it a dark green or neon?

thanks for your response.her poop was watery yesterday.the green was the color of grass.she is still on the roost this morning.she did eat a little from my hand.i haven't noticed her poop this morning.

she is doing much better.i think she just ate too many worms.all is good now.
