You can do whatever you want with them once you receive them back. I made a strip quilt for my grand-daughter with strips we swapped a couple years ago. But you can do so many other things with them. Just search the web for ideas.

Here you go Acre,

Hope this helps everyone. I guess I'm in.

Cadeau, you could do something like this, now these are with diference colors but it's sew easy you wouldn't believe it. If you want the directions let me know.

SORRY one more thing, Is that 36 of each or total? If it's of each you would need more than one yard. Sorry I just need to ask.

YOu will need to buy 1 yard of Black fabric that is printed with either scrolls, paisleys, dots, floral, stripes, plaid, pen pal or zebra (in white or red).....you will also need to buy 1 yard of Red fabric that is printed with either scrolls, paisleys, dots, floral, stripes, plaid, pen pal or zebra (in white or black)....and you will also need to buy 1 yard of White that is printed with...you guessed it.....scrolls, paisleys, dots, floral, stripes, plaid, pen pal or zebra (in red or black)

Here is a link for some ideas of the printed fabrics I am talking about.....these can be bought at Wal-mart, Jo Anns, Hobby Lobby for a fraction of the cost......

Thanks ginbart.....that would be 36 total strips. 12 strips of each color

Folks remember the later pic that ginbart posted is a block that you can do with the 2 1/2 inch strips. But the colors in the first pic are examples of the colors that we are going to use in this swap. They are so beautiful when put together into a quilt.

Here are the three possibilities I am looking at. I don't know anything about the Keepsake Calico brand of fabric. Not being able to touch the fabric is a bit...scary to me

this one is almost an exact replica of my granny's bathroom wall paper. Except the larger flowers are in red.

Gotta love 1973 interior decoration. She loves that wall paper so much that when the house was remodeled (and the shag carpet torn out and replaced) 11 years ago she kept it and got new red carpet to match!
