I took in a young bird in need of a home. She was just a week old at the time. She is a hybrid. Can you all name how many breeds you see in her?

By the way, her name is Pigeon and she has an extra toe.

My immediate thought is Easter Egger x Silkie, though there are several breeds that could have contributed the sort of darker striped phenotype common in Easter Eggers. Maybe OEGB, maybe, I dunno, Welsummer. Does she have a straight comb?
I'm pretty confident in saying she has Silkie blood in her. That skin colour plus slight crest and extra toes is quite typical of every Silkie cross hen that I have ever done.

If you look at her face, you can see that the underlying colour, such as by her earlobes, is quite dark.

It has a crest and black skin.

I can see the stripe of a dorking. I'd be surprised though. Not a common breed around these parts. But I do see the head markings.
