Hello everyone! I went out and took some pics of my flock today - I'm wondering if anyone sees any suspected cockerels? The Buff O and the SLW I'm keeping my eye on but so far their saddle feathers seem round.

There are 3 bsl, who I'm not worried about, 3 California whites, an australorp, the BO and SLW.

Threw in the Silkie just for fun because I find it interesting how wildly different people guess.

The slw/BO/australorp are 8 weeks, the rest are just under 12 we believe.

Looks like all girls to me....... I wont even try to guess at a silkie though.

Haha yes; I consider myself a sexing expert but not enough to accurately sex a silkie

Don't know about the Silkie either, but they all look like pullets to me too.

Thanks so much, guys! I was really worried about the SLW seeing that red comb, but it hasn't developed at all so far, just color, no substance.

I'll try to get a better pic of the silkie/showgirl's comb tomorrow, if I can. I harassed them enough today I think We're still in the taming process and they are probably so sick of being loved on at this point.

It has a naked neck. And it's not a recognized color.

Sometimes people breed them specifically to have this.....but they aren't pure.
